19 Weeks

It is hard to believe that next week I will be halfway through this pregnancy. The beginning weeks seemed to go so slowly and now things are moving right along. We are still trying to narrow down the big choices like furniture, strollers, car seats, and other baby gear. Hopefully once we know the gender we will be able to make some decisions. Dave has been working crazy hours lately, so we're excited to have the whole day together next Tuesday for the big ultrasound. I haven't bought a single thing yet for our little one, but that is about to change next week! Can't wait!

In other news, the belly is definitely growing. I tried to put on my regular jeans for the weekly picture, but as predicted they could not be closed and then my husband began yelling at me to take them off. I happily obliged. So I now live in my gap maternity jeans, as seen below.

Pregnancy: 19 weeks
Weight Gain: Decided to wait until my next appointment for the official weight check. I have definitely been gaining weight though, luckily it seems to be central to the belly area :)
Sleep: Much better! I got my pregnancy body pillow this week, which is awesome. This lovely pillow deserves a post in and of itself. Stay tuned...
Gender: We will find out next week! We just want a healthy baby and will be thrilled with a boy or a girl!
Cravings: Seafood
Feeling: Good
Health: I feel really good! I had a dentist appointment today and all looks well. I was convinced with my history of teeth issues that there would be a problem (even my dr. was shocked). So I'm thrilled that I got to make a 6 month appointment instead of going back in a couple weeks. Other then general fatigue, mom and baby are doing great!
Movement: Yes! I feel the baby mulitiple times throughout the course of the day especially after I eat or drink something with sugar, like my morning orange juice. It's the best feeling. Not quite strong enough for Dave to feel it, but hopefully in the next couple weeks.
Belly Button: In.
Next Appointment: February 2nd our big 20 week ultrasound is right around the corner!!! I will be sure to write an update as soon as we get home that day (probably in the evening sometime).
