The 1st Trimester

Warning: I have become open and honest through these last few months. Laughter and a really good sense of humor have kept me sane. I have to say that the 1st Trimester is not for the faint of heart.

Everyday I have felt truly blessed that God has chosen me to carry this child. That being said, I am thrilled to be done these first three months! :::mini celebration::: I have experienced every symptom under the sun: extreme thirst, dizziness, fatigue, constipation, mood swings (sorry Dave), blurred vision, cramping, bloating, food aversions, weight loss, nausea, and vomiting. For those of you who know me, you know that I have dealt with stomach issues my whole life. I knew going in that pregnancy would only exacerbate those symptoms. Needless-to-say I was horribly sick from week 6 to about week 12. I still feel nauseous, but I am no longer running to the bathroom 8-10 times a day. All along I have learned to cope with the symptoms and continue to thank God for this little miracle. It is all so worth it!

xoxo
