Due Date - 40 Weeks

Yes.... I'm still here.

So I hit my official and unofficial due dates. The hospital set my due date for the 21st (Monday) and my doctor set my due date for the 22nd (Tuesday). Regardless it's just a reference point, but either way I am 40 weeks pregnant and still waiting. It is definitely a blow to the ego to see your due date come and go. Regardless, I'm completely comfortable waiting for her to arrive when SHE is ready, not me. That being said I'm pretty uncomfortable physically and more then ready emotionally to meet my baby girl. So here's hoping she's ready soon!!!

Pregnancy: 40 weeks

Size of Baby: Large! I'd be really surprised if she was less then 8 pounds at this point, but that's just me talking here.

Gender: Baby Girl

Sleep: As well as I can, but I keep waiting for my water to break at night so that keeps me a bit on edge. Getting in and out of bed is really a challenge. Once I get upright I need a minute before getting up for her to adjust herself. I feel so bad she has no room!

Cravings: Watermelon. I've eaten a crapload of it lately, so good :)

Feeling: Anxious, nervous, and eager. I ask for your prayers for a quick and easy labor!!!

Health: As expected I feel pretty crappy. I'm having a lot of nausea, cramping, contractions, pressure, etc. All that good stuff you'd expect at this stage of the game. I'm just hoping it's going somewhere and making some progress through all this discomfort. All the yucky and sometimes painful symptoms aside, I am so blessed that I have had such a healthy pregnancy and for that I am so thankful.

Movement: Poor little girl seems so distraught in there. She is moving like crazy and it just hurts now! She seems to constantly stretch her little feet has far out as possible, to which I lightly rub them back into place. I'm a little concerned she doesn't know how to get out!

Belly: A lot smaller now that she's so far down, but not any more comfortable hahaha.

Best Moment this Week: Reaching my Due Date!

What I Miss: A lot, but none of it matters in comparison to what I'm being given.

Next Appointment: On Friday, June 25th at the Ob's office ::: le sigh:::. They will be keeping a pretty close eye on me and baby girl from this point on.
