20 Weeks

Half-Baked! I am officially half way through this pregnancy and today is a very important day... Ultrasound Day! Today Dave and I will have our 20 week ultrasound at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital on the Upper West Side. Today we find out if we are having a boy or a girl. Today we go shopping. I told you it is a very important day. We have our appointment at 1:30 this afternoon and plan to have lunch, do some shopping, and make a day of it. When I get home I will be posting the announcement on the blog. So be sure to check back.

Heading out to the appointment...

Here are the stats for 20 Weeks...

Pregnancy: 20 weeks

Weight Gain: Will get the official weight in at my monthly Ob appointment next week. I think I'm up about 7 pounds. They say you should gain around 10-13 pounds by 20 weeks. So I think I'm in a good place.
Sleep: Really much better, except when Mannie decides he wants to wake me up, which unfortunately is often.
Gender: We'll know in a couple hours!!!!!
Cravings: Ice Cream
Feeling: Great
Health: Enjoying the honeymoon phase of this pregnancy. I'm doing prenatal pilates and walking more, so the energy is coming back. There really isn't any symptom that is bothering me too much right now ::fingers crossed::. Hopefully it will stay like this for a couple weeks :)
Movement: Yes! I feel the baby all the time. Still waiting for Dave to feel although he's not really that patient. He puts his hand on my belly for 30 seconds and then says "Well, maybe next time." Um... hello you need to wait a little longer there my friend." We went to see the movie Avatar on Sunday and the baby was kicking the whole time. Little one seems to be very reactive to loud noises.
Belly Button: In.
Next Appointment: February 10th at the Ob's office. We are now rotating between the four doctor's at the practice. That way we can get comfortable, since any one of the four doctor's could be on call the day I go into labor.

xoxo
